Enabling International and Roaming Services via the Ooredoo App

By Anna · · 4 min read

Hey there, tech-savvy adventurers! Are you ready to stay connected while you jet off across borders? 🌍 Whether you’re heading to a business meeting in Bangkok or a beach getaway in Bali, enabling international calls and roaming services with the Ooredoo app is easier than finding a good bowl of mohinga!

Step 1: Download the Ooredoo App

If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to hit the app store and grab the Ooredoo app. It’s your ultimate guide to all things Ooredoo and will make managing your account a piece of cake.

Step 2: Log In and Navigate to Services

Once you’re in the app, log in using your credentials. If you’ve forgotten them, don’t sweat it! Just follow the prompts to reset. Now, look for the “Services” tab in the menu. It’s usually hard to miss — like a pup at a dog park!

Step 3: Activating International Calls

  • Tap on “International Calls”.
  • Choose your desired service (don’t worry, they usually give you plenty of options).
  • Select your preferred payment method (it’s Ooredoo, so you know they’ve got you covered!).
  • Click “Activate” and just like that, you’re set!

Step 4: Enabling Roaming Services

Now, let’s make sure you won’t be lost in the middle of nowhere with a phone that doesn’t work!

  • In the same menu, look for “Roaming Services”.
  • Don’t be shy! Tap on it like you would on that last slice of pizza.
  • Select the areas you’ll be traveling to and choose your preferred roaming package.
  • Hit “Activate” again. Voila! You’re ready to roam!

Double-Check Roaming Costs

Before you step onto that plane, it’s wise to double-check the roaming costs for your destination. You can find this info here. It’s better than getting a surprise bill upon return, right?

Bonus Tips: Enjoy Your Travels!

Remember to turn on your roaming services before leaving Myanmar! Otherwise, you might just find yourself in a jungle without GPS. 🎒 You might also want to check out other travelers’ experiences on Travel Fish to explore how they navigate connectivity abroad!
